This super-popular hemp knitting yarn is incredibly versatile. It's cool in summer, warm in winter, and has a fabulous drape. Stitch definition is great, and the yarn is also perfect for lacey designs as it holds blocking beautifully.

On the needles, knitting with hemp feels similar to linen. If you find hemp a little stiff, just soak the skein in warm water (don't untie it) and let it dry; the knitting will feel more like cotton.

Machine or hand-wash wash and dry. Your finished hemp garment will become softer and more supple with each washing.

Dyed using fiber-reactive dyes; mercerized to preserve colorfastness.

Gauge: 22 stitches = 4" / 10cm (needles: 3.75mm, US 5)
