According to Mirasol, "Samp'a" in Quechuan means light, soft, and humble. This is a fitting description for this lovely organic cotton yarn. It is soft and lovely to work with and comes in a new array of soothing natural colors. Samp'a is often used for baby garments, toys, blankets and the like, but it would also be great for a summer cardigan or a cool-weather shawl.

This yarn is 100% SKAL certified, and is organically grown, naturally dyed and spun in Holland in support of the Mirasol project.
